The meat packing industry is how meat is prepared to be sold in stores and restaurants. Meat packers like cows, pigs, and chickens from farms and slaughter them in large factories. Then, the meat is cut into small pieces and packaged for consumers. There are lots of safety regulations and inspections in place to make sure that the meat is healthy to eat.
