Meatball

Meatballs are little balls made out of meat that are cooked and eaten. They are usually made from ground beef or pork (which means the meat has been squished up until it's all small and mixed together), but they can also be made with chicken or turkey. To make a meatball, you start by taking the ground meat and mixing it with things like breadcrumbs (which are like little pieces of dried bread), eggs, and spices (like salt, pepper, and garlic). You then roll the mixture into little balls and cook them in a pan or in the oven. Meatballs can be eaten by themselves, or they can be put in things like spaghetti sauce or made into meatball sandwiches. They are yummy and fun to eat!
