Frikandel

Okay kiddo, have you ever heard of a hotdog? Well, frikandel is kind of like a hotdog, but different. Instead of being made of beef, pork or chicken like most hotdogs, frikandel is made of minced meat (usually beef or chicken) mixed with other things like flour, spices, and herbs.

After it's all mixed up, it gets put into a long, thin tube shape and gets cooked just like a hotdog. You can eat it on its own, or you can put it in a bun with ketchup, mayo, or whatever toppings you like. Some people like to eat it with fries too!

Frikandel is really popular in the Netherlands and other countries in Europe, and people eat it for all sorts of different meals, from breakfast to dinner. It's a tasty snack that's easy to eat on the go, and also makes a yummy addition to a regular meal.
