Mechanical pest control

Okay kiddo, imagine you have a bunch of pesky bugs in your garden or house that you want to get rid of. But instead of using chemicals that can be harmful to you and the environment, you can use mechanical pest control!

Mechanical pest control means using tools and devices to physically remove or kill bugs. Here are some examples:

1. Swatting flies with a fly swatter: You know those annoying flies that buzz around your food? You can use a special tool called a fly swatter to hit them and squash them.

2. Sticky traps: These are traps that have a sticky surface that bugs get stuck to when they walk over it. They can't escape and eventually die.

3. Vacuuming: If you have a lot of ants, spiders or other bugs crawling around your house, you can use a vacuum cleaner to suck them up and get rid of them.

4. Bug zappers: These are lights that attract bugs and then zap them with an electric charge.

5. Handpicking: If you have a small garden, you can pick off any bugs you see by hand and squish them.

Mechanical pest control is a safe and effective way to get rid of bugs without harming the environment. Just make sure to wear gloves and wash your hands afterwards!
