Mediumship is a type of spiritual practice in which a person, called a medium, connects with and speaks to spirits, especially those of people who have died. Usually, the medium will sit in a quiet place, close their eyes, relax, and focus their energy. They will then ‘tune in’ and open their mind to receiving messages from spirits. The messages might be visions, impressions, words, sounds, smells and even ‘pictures’ in their head. The medium then shares what they heard and saw with the person they are connecting to.
