Meissner effect

The Meissner Effect is a scientific phenomenon. It happens when a magnetic field is applied to a material and the material repels it. The strong magnets push against the material and it pushes them away. This is known as the Meissner Effect. It's kind of like when you hold up a strongly magnetized paperclip against a piece of metal - the paperclip jumps away! The Meissner Effect is a physical process that happens when the material is cold. This happens because when the material is colder, the atoms inside become more organized and it's easier for them to repel the magnetic field.
