Memory laws

Memory laws are laws that protect memories of important moments in history. They stop people from changing those memories or trying to forget them. For example, some countries have laws that forbid the tearing down of a war memorial. This means that the memories of everyone who died in the war can be remembered and honored. Memory laws help us to make sure that we do not forget the past and that we can always remember the people who have come before us.
