Okay kiddo, so you know how sometimes we write stories or draw pictures to share with others? Well, when people write stories or articles on a computer so that people all over the world can read them, that's called blogging.
It's kind of like having a journal or a diary online that other people can read, but instead of just writing about our day, we can write about all sorts of things like our hobbies, opinions, or interesting things we learn.
People who do blogging are often called bloggers, and they share their writing online by posting it on a blog - which is like a website. They can also share pictures, videos or links and other people can read their stuff and leave comments to share their own thoughts.
