ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Mesh networking

Mesh networking is a way of connecting computers together so that they can talk to each other. Instead of one computer connecting to another computer directly, like a train connecting two cities, a bunch of computers are connected in a "mesh" or web shape. This web of computers all talk to each other, so if one computer needs to send a message to another, it can find the right one in the web. This makes it easier for computers to find each other, like hopscotch among friends.
