Metamaterial absorber

Metamaterial absorbers are materials made up of something called mini structures, which are tiny shapes put together to make the material. The mini structures have the ability to absorb energy, like light, sound, or heat, and turn it into a different kind of energy, like heat. Metamaterial absorbers are used to help block out things like sound and heat from entering a room, to help keep it quieter and cooler.
