Methanation

Methanation is a process that uses energy and gases like carbon dioxide (CO2) and hydrogen (H2) to create a gas called methane. Methane is a type of gas that we use to make energy, like electricity, and to fuel things like cars. First, the energy and gases are put into a big machine called a methanation reactor, which is like a pot that cooks these things into methane. Then, the methane can be used in a different machine to make electricity or other forms of energy.
