Meyer hardness test

The Meyer Hardness Test is a quick and easy way to tell how hard or soft different materials are. It works by pressing a hard material (like a diamond) into the surface of the material you want to test and seeing how deep it goes. The harder the material is, the less it will be pressed down and the higher its hardness score will be. Think of it like pressing your fingers into Play-Doh; the Play-Doh will be pressed down much further than a piece of plastic. That's how the Meyer Hardness Test works.
