Mid-year adjustment

A mid-year adjustment is when a company makes changes to their financial records to show more accurate information. For example, if a company made lots of money in the first part of the year, but then during the second half of the year it made less money, the company can make a mid-year adjustment to show a more accurate picture of their financial situation. This adjustment can be done to show how much money the company made and how much it spent during the entire year. That way, the company and people who look at their finances can see the truth about the company’s money and make better decisions.
