Milt

Milt is a fancy name for fish sperm. Just like how you and your friends have different parts of your body, fish also have different parts of their body. One part of a male fish's body is the milt, which is where the fish sperm live.

When a mommy fish and daddy fish want to have baby fish, the daddy fish will release his milt into the water. This milt will then make its way to the mommy fish's eggs, and together they will create baby fish (also known as fry).

People sometimes use milt as a special type of food, almost like a fancy topping. Some people like to eat it on top of sushi, noodles or rice bowls. It's important to cook it just right, so it tastes really yummy!
