Mind at large is a term that is used to describe the idea that a person's conscious experience is shaped by much more than what that person's physical senses can detect. This means that our mind perceives not just what our eyes, ears, nose, etc., can detect, but also things like emotions, ideas, beliefs, and thoughts. In other words, mind at large means that there are aspects of our experience that exist outside of what we can physically sense and measure. For example, an emotion like love can be experienced without us being able to explain it - this is part of mind at large.
