Minority government

A minority government is a type of government made up of elected officials from one political party that doesn't have enough members in the government to pass laws on its own. This means other parties have to help them pass laws by agreeing to support them. This means the government has to compromise with other parties, which can make it harder to pass laws quickly because everyone has to agree. It also means no one party has all the power, so it can be a good way to make sure everyone's voices are heard.
