Mixed-use development

Mixed-use development is when multiple types of buildings (houses, stores, offices, etc.) are all built in one area. So, for example, instead of just having a street full of houses or a street full of stores, mixed-use development means that both houses and stores are built on the same street. This way, people can live, work and shop in one neighbourhood!
