Mobile phones on aircraft

When you are on an airplane you are not allowed to use your mobile phone. This is because mobile phones can interfere with the airplane radios and equipment. Mobile phones send out signals that can stop the airplane from communicating with the ground safely and could make the airplane crash. That is why you need to turn off your phone when on an airplane!
