Modes of convergence

Modes of convergence are different ways that different systems (like computers, phones, or TVs) can exchange information. Different systems may use different ways to send and receive data, so they need to use one type of techology that all the systems can understand. That technology is called a mode of convergence. There are different modes, like cables, wireless networks, or infrared signals. When two systems use the same mode of convergence, they can communicate and exchange data with each other.
