Limit of a sequence

A sequence is a list of numbers. A limit of a sequence tells you what number the sequence is getting closer and closer to, even if it never actually reaches that number. For example, if the sequence is 1,1,2,3,5,8,13 the limit is infinity, which means the sequence is getting bigger and bigger forever but will never actually reach infinity.
