Molecular machines

Okay kiddo, so have you ever seen a machine? It's like a big tool that does some work for us. Now, let's talk about something much smaller than a machine. Something so tiny that you can't even see it with your eyes. It's called a molecule.

Now, a molecular machine is made up of these tiny molecules, and it is a very special kind of machine. It can do things that regular machines cannot do. Just like machines that we use, these molecular machines can do work. They can move things around, cut things into smaller pieces, and even build things.

The most interesting thing about them is that they can do all of this work without anyone telling them what to do. They work by themselves, just like magic. Molecular machines are so small that we can not see them, but they are everywhere. They help our body work properly, by moving things around, cutting things into smaller pieces, and building things that our body needs.

Think of it this way, when you play with your toys, you actually use your hands and move them, right? Now imagine that there are teeny, tiny robots inside your body that move things around in the same way, but they are too small for you to see them. That’s how molecular machines work!

Scientists still have a lot to learn about how molecular machines work, but they will certainly play a big role in how we understand our world and how we can make new things to help people in the future!
