Monism

Monism is a way of thinking about how everything in the universe is connected - it means that everything is made up of one type of thing. It can mean that everything is made up of the same type of energy, or matter, or that everything is part of the same spiritual force. Monism helps us understand how everything we see around us - people, animals, plants, the oceans and stars - is all connected and belongs to a big whole.
