Monolithic dome

Monolithic dome is a type of building that is made out of just one big piece or "monolith". It's like building a house out of one really big ball.

To make a monolithic dome, builders use inflated balloons made out of tough materials like concrete or foam that are shaped like the house. They put the balloon where they want the house to be and then cover it with a layer of spray insulation. Once the insulation is in place, they cover it with a layer of steel or concrete.

The balloon is then slowly deflated and removed, leaving a big dome-shaped structure behind. The dome is strong and efficient because it distributes weight evenly over the whole structure, making it resistant to natural disasters like hurricanes, earthquakes, and tornadoes.

Monolithic domes can be used for all kinds of buildings, from homes to schools to churches to sports arenas. They are also energy-efficient because they are insulated so well and the rounded shape helps reduce air resistance. Overall, these buildings are cool, strong, and pretty neat!
