Monothematic delusions

Monothematic delusions are when you have a strong, false belief about something that is not true. For example, you could falsely believe that everyone is out to get you or that you have superpowers. These types of beliefs can make you feel scared, confused, or upset because they don't make sense. People with monothematic delusions might be so convinced of their false belief that they think it is true even when other people tell them it's not.
