ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Motion coding

Motion coding is like telling a story using only pictures. You know how when you watch a movie or a cartoon, people and things move around? Well, with motion coding, you can make those things move however you want them to!

The way this works is that you use a special kind of language that computers understand called code. Just like how you learn new words in English or another language, you can learn codes for making things move in a computer program.

When you type the codes into the program, it tells the computer what to do with the pictures you're using. For example, you could make a little character move across the screen by telling the computer how far to move it and how fast to go.

It's like putting together a puzzle, but instead of using your hands, you're using your brain and the computer to make things move in a really cool and interesting way.
