Okay kiddo, have you ever seen someone sitting in a chair that has wheels and they use it to move around? That's called a wheelchair.
Now, some people can't move their legs, so they can't make the wheelchair move by themselves - that's why we have motorized wheelchairs!
Instead of using their feet to make the wheels go round and round, a motorized wheelchair has a battery and a little motor inside that does all the work.
The person sitting in the motorized wheelchair just needs to use their hands to move a joystick or control panel, and the wheelchair will move on its own!
The motorized wheelchair is quite clever, actually. It has little wheels that can turn in any direction, which makes it much easier to move around tight spaces. And, because it runs on batteries, it can travel much further than a regular wheelchair in a shorter amount of time too!
So, there you have it - a motorized wheelchair is just like a regular wheelchair, but with a little motor inside that helps it move!
