Mouse models of breast cancer metastasis

Mouse models of breast cancer metastasis are experiments done on mice (tiny animals) to study and understand how breast cancer spreads in our bodies. Scientists give a small amount of breast cancer cells to a mouse by injecting them into its body. They then look to see how the cancer cells move and grow in the mouse and if it spreads to other organs. By doing this, scientists can better understand how breast cancer spreads and make sure that treatments for humans are more effective.
