Multivariable calculus

Multivariable calculus is an area of mathematics that lets us describe and analyze changes in more than one variable at once. The idea is that if there are several variables, like x, y, and z, that can all affect each other, we need a way to measure and understand all of those relationships. To do this, multivariable calculus uses equations and formulas to figure out how each variable is affected by all of the others. This can help us in many areas, like physics, astronomy, economics, and engineering.
