Multivariate adaptive regression spline

Multivariate adaptive regression spline (MARS) is a method used to create mathematical models that "learn" from data. This means that MARS can take data from many different sources and use it to make predictions. MARS works by making a model that is made up of many small pieces called "splines". Each spline helps to fit the data better and make more accurate predictions. By combining all of the splines together, MARS is able to make a better model that can be used to make more accurate predictions.
