ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Mund (law)

Well kiddo, mund is a fancy word that means the power that someone has over their own property and the people who live on it.

Let me give you an example: imagine you have a toy box and all of your toys are inside. You have the power to decide who can play with your toys and who can't. You also have the power to decide who can come into your room and play with your toys.

In the olden days, the idea of mund was really important because it meant that people could have control over their own things and the people who lived with them. It was like having your own little kingdom where you could make the rules.

Today, we don't really use the word mund very often because we have different laws and rules that help protect people's property and rights. But it's still an important idea to understand because it helps us understand how people used to live a long time ago.
