Murder of João Hélio

Okay buddy, so there was this little boy named João Hélio who lived in Brazil. One day, some mean people decided to steal his mom's car while she was picking him up from school. But they didn't stop there, they also took João and drove off with him hanging onto the car. It was very very dangerous and hurtful because they drove really fast and João couldn't hold on anymore, so he fell off the car and got dragged on the street until he died.

This was very very bad and lots of people were very angry and sad about what happened to João. The police tried to find the mean people who did this and they eventually caught them. The mean people were punished for what they did, but it didn't bring João back. Lots of people in Brazil remember João and use his story to talk about how dangerous and scary crime can be.
