Muscle dysmorphia

Hey there kiddo! Have you ever heard of muscles? They're those big, strong and tough parts of our body that help us move and do things like lifting heavy things.

Well, sometimes adults can become obsessed with having bigger and bigger muscles, to the point where it's all they can think about. This is called muscle dysmorphia, and it's a mental health condition where people worry a lot about how big and muscular they are.

Just like how some people can worry too much about being too thin, people with muscle dysmorphia worry too much about not being big enough. They might work out a lot, eat a lot of high-protein foods, take supplements or even steroids to try to make their muscles bigger.

But here's the thing kiddo, while it's great to be strong and healthy, people with muscle dysmorphia can take it too far and start to harm themselves. They might hurt their bodies by over-exercising, taking too many supplements or steroids, or even developing an unhealthy relationship with food.

So, it's important to remember that being strong and healthy is wonderful, but it's also important to take care of our bodies and minds. Remember, there's more to life than just having big muscles!
