Music and artificial intelligence

Music is something you hear with your ears that can make you feel happy, sad, or excited. And artificial intelligence is when smart computers can learn and do things like humans.

When we combine music and artificial intelligence, we can teach computers how to make music too! The computer can learn from lots of music that people have made before and figure out patterns and rules to create new songs.

For example, let's say we want the computer to make a happy song. We can tell it that happy songs usually have a fast beat, major chords (which sound happy), and lyrics about good things like love or sunshine.

Then, the computer can take all of that information and create its own happy song from scratch! It might not sound exactly like a human made it, but it can still make us feel happy and dance along.
