Mutagen

Mutagen is something that makes changes to the genetic information, or DNA, inside of a living thing. It changes the DNA in ways that can cause a living thing to have a different look, grow differently, or even have different behavior. For example, when mutagen is present in food that animals eat, it can make changes to their DNA which can cause their offspring to look different or have different behaviors.
