Nanotoxicity

Okay kiddo, do you know what a nanometer is? It's super small, like a billionth of a meter! Scientists have made it possible to create really tiny materials called nanoparticles that are so small, you can't see them with your eyes or even a regular microscope.

Now, some of these nanoparticles can be harmful if they get inside our bodies. That's what nanotoxicity is all about – it's when these tiny particles can hurt us.

Scientists are still trying to figure out exactly how nanotoxicity works and what it does to our bodies. Some particles could cause inflammation or damage to our cells, which can lead to health problems like respiratory or immune system issues.

That's why scientists are studying the risks and benefits of using nanoparticles in technology and medicine. They want to make sure that any nanoparticles used are safe for us and won't cause any harm.
