Narcissistic personality disorder

Narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) is a type of mental disorder where someone has an overly high opinion of themselves and craves attention and admiration from other people. People with NPD usually have a hard time seeing that their behavior is hurting or annoying other people and they often think that other people are just jealous of them. People with NPD also may be very sensitive to criticism and may react very strongly when they are not given the attention they believe they deserve.
