National Grid (UK)

National grid is an electric company in the United Kingdom (UK), which is responsible for making sure that all homes, businesses, and other places in the UK have access to electric power. They make it possible for electric power to be delivered to homes, businesses, and other places by connecting them to a network of pipes, wires, and other equipment, called the 'National Grid'. This network takes electricity, produced by power stations, and sends it out to all the homes, businesses, and other places. This means that all the homes, businesses, and other places in the UK are able to have electricity.
