National edeposit system

A national edeposit system is like a big library on a computer that collects books, magazines, and other things that people write and publish. It's online so people can access it from anywhere with a computer or device that has the internet. It's called ‘national’ because it's for everyone in the country.

Just like when we go to a regular library, we can borrow a book and read it but we have to give it back so other people can read it too. The national edeposit system works the same way, but instead of borrowing books, we can read them on our computer or device, and it stays in the library for anyone else who wants to read it.

To make sure that the national edeposit system has everything that people write and publish in the country, it's connected to all the different publishing houses, libraries and archives where these things are made. Every time somebody writes and publishes something new, the national edeposit system finds it and adds it to the library. This way, nothing is missed and everyone can read everything that's written and published in the country.

So, to sum up, a national edeposit system collects all the books and other things that people write and publish in the country and puts them online in a big library where anybody can read them.
