ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

National park

A national park is like a big playground made by nature. It's a huge area of land with lots of cool things to see, like mountains, forests, lakes, and animals! National parks are special because people from all over the world can come to visit and enjoy them.

Just like there are rules at a playground, there are rules at national parks too. We have to be careful and not disturb the animals, plants, or nature in any way. We also have to keep our trash and litter in the trash cans so that the park stays clean and beautiful for everyone.

National parks are protected areas, which means that the government makes sure that they stay safe and untouched by humans. They are places where we can explore and learn about the environment and wildlife in their natural habitat.

So, when you see a sign for a national park, just remember that it's a big playground of nature that we have to treat with respect and care. And most importantly, it's a place where you can have lots of fun and make amazing memories that will last a lifetime!
