Rubber is a squishy material that comes from trees called rubber trees. It looks like sap that oozes out of the tree when you cut it. This material is called latex.
Natural rubber is made from the latex by collecting it in small cups that are attached to the tree's bark. The cups of latex are gathered and processed using a special machine to separate the liquid part from the solids. The liquid is then cleaned and treated with some chemicals to make sure it doesn't spoil.
Next, the liquid rubber is poured onto a roller and is flattened out to make it more solid. A machine called a wringer rolls the rubber to squeeze out the extra water. Then the rubber is processed again to make it into the right shape.
Finally, the natural rubber is heated and hardened, and sometimes it's mixed with other materials to make it stronger or to give it special properties, like grip or resistance to heat or cold. After all that, the rubber is ready to be used for making different things like tires, balloons, gloves, and many other things that need a soft, bouncy, and strong material.
