Naturally aspirated engine

When we talk about an engine in a car, we mean the part that makes the car go vroom. There are different types of engines, and one type is called a naturally aspirated engine.

A naturally aspirated engine works kind of like how you breathe in air. You don't need any extra help, you just breathe in air naturally. Similarly, in a naturally aspirated engine, the air needed to make the car go vroom is sucked in by the engine without any extra help.

The engine uses a special part called the piston to compress fuel and air together, and then it sets it on fire (kind of like blowing out a candle) to create an explosion. This explosion pushes the piston down, which makes the car move.

So, overall, a naturally aspirated engine is a type of engine that doesn't need any extra help to get the air it needs to make the car go vroom.
