Nature study is like going on an adventure to explore and learn about the world around us! Imagine you are the main character in a storybook and you have to go on a mission to discover something new about the outside. First, you have to use all of your senses (like your eyes, ears, nose, and hands) to look at, listen to, smell and touch everything around you. You might see different trees, animals, insects, flowers, and rocks. Then, you might ask yourself questions like: "What is this thing called?", "What does it do?", "What does it feel like?", "How does it grow?", "How does it help the other animals?", among many others.
After that, you make notes, draw pictures or collect things that help you remember what you learned. You can write in a journal, take photos or even record videos to show your findings to your friends and family. You might also talk to other people who know more about what you found, like a park ranger or a nature guide. Sometimes, you might need special tools like binoculars, a magnifying glass, or a butterfly net to help you get a closer look at things.
Nature study is lots of fun and there is always something new to discover! By doing it, you not only learn about the different parts of our world but also learn to respect and take care of the environment around you.
