"Need for achievement" means that someone really likes to do things that are challenging and difficult. They want to do well and feel proud of themselves when they succeed. It's like playing a game or doing a puzzle – when you finally figure it out, it feels really good! People with a high need for achievement often work very hard and set goals for themselves to reach. They don't give up easily and enjoy the feeling of accomplishment when they finish something. Some people have a higher need for achievement than others, and that's totally okay – everyone is different!
