Negotiations to end apartheid in South Africa

Negotiations to end apartheid in South Africa were talks between South African leaders, activists, and other countries about how to end a system of racial segregation that had been in place for years. This system made it so that people of different races were not allowed to do the same things, like go to the same schools or vote in elections. The negotiations happened over a period of several years, until the apartheid system was ended in 1994. This meant that people of all races now have the same rights, and can live and work together in South Africa.
