Neuroinformatics

Neuroinformatics is the study of how scientists use computers and information technology to learn more about the brain and nervous system. It uses computers to store, collect and analyze data from research studies that involve the brain. With neuroinformatics, scientists are able to look at brain scans, study genetics, measure changes in brain activity and much more. This help us understand how our brains work so that we can find better treatments for diseases and illnesses.
