Neuromodulation (medicine)

Neuromodulation is a type of medicine that helps change signals in the brain and spinal cord. It's kind of like controlling a computer with your finger. You press certain buttons to make the computer do different things. With neuromodulation, doctors send tiny electrical shocks to different parts of your brain or spine to change how your body works. It can help with movement, pain, and other problems. Doctors decide which parts of your body to target and how much electricity to use. Neuromodulation can help people feel better and do things they couldn't do before.
