Neurophysiology is a branch of science which studies how our bodies use electrical signals to control the way our brain works. Our brain is made up of lots of tiny cells called neurons. The neurons help us think, see, hear, and feel. Inside each neuron is a chemical and electrical reaction that helps it to work. Neurophysiology tries to figure out how these chemical and electrical signals cause our brain to work differently in different situations. It helps us understand how we learn and how we behave.
