ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

New Agenda Coalition

Okay kiddo, imagine you and your friends have a big book with all the things you want to accomplish. You call it your "agenda". Some of the things on your agenda are very important, like getting good grades or being kind to others. Now imagine that you and your friends have joined together with other kids from different schools to create a new group called the New Agenda Coalition.

This new group has a big book just like yours, but it's even more important because it's about making the whole world a better place. They call it their "agenda" too. The New Agenda Coalition is made up of countries from all over the world who want to work together to solve problems like poverty, hunger, and pollution.

Now, you might wonder, what makes this group special? Well, the New Agenda Coalition was created because some countries were feeling left out of an older group of countries that had more power and influence. The New Agenda Coalition was formed to bring together countries from Latin America, Africa, and Asia to have a stronger voice in important global discussions.

Together, the New Agenda Coalition plans to work towards achieving their goals, like reducing poverty and creating a cleaner environment. They will talk to leaders of other countries and organizations to try and convince them to help too. Just like you and your friends work together to make your school a better place, the New Agenda Coalition is working to make the world a better place for everyone.
