New international division of labour

The new international division of labor is a way of talking about how different countries and people work together to make stuff. You know how sometimes you play with your friends and everyone has a different job like someone sets up the game and someone else keeps score? Well, that's kind of like what different countries do when they work together.

Some countries are really good at making things like clothes or toys or phones, and other countries are really good at things like figuring out how to sell those things all around the world. People in different countries also have different skills and education levels, so they might be better at doing jobs that others can't do as well.

Sometimes, when people from different countries work together, it can help everyone get more done and make more money. For example, a company might make clothes in one country because it's cheaper, and then they might send those clothes to another country to sell them in a store.

However, this way of working can also cause some problems. It can be hard for workers in some countries to make enough money or work under good conditions, and other countries can start to rely too much on one thing, like just making clothes or just selling things.

So, the new international division of labor is basically a way to talk about how different countries work together to make and sell things. It can be really helpful, but it's important to make sure everyone is being treated fairly and not relying too much on just one thing.
