No Child Left Behind Act

The No Child Left Behind Act is like a rulebook that helps schools make sure all kids are learning and growing. It says that every year, all the students in a school have to take tests to see how much they are learning and if they need extra help.

If kids are not doing well on the tests, the school has to give them more help and make a plan to help them learn better. The goal is to make sure that all the students in the school are getting the same education and that no child is left behind, or left behind in their learning.

This law helps the government see which schools are doing well and which ones need more help. It also helps parents and teachers work together to make sure all kids get what they need to succeed.
